PAPS issue hundreds of tickets, multiple roadside suspensions during blitz
Over 250 tickets were issued by Prince Albert police during a two-day traffic enforcement campaign.
Officers were set up at several locations across the city on Aug. 30 and 31 as part of a selective traffic enforcement program (STEP) initiative.
More than half of the tickets were for drivers speeding, while 30 received a fine for not wearing their seatbelt and another 27 for using their phone while driving. Some of those caught speeding were caught more than once.
Twelve people also had their licences suspended after testing showed they had marijuana in their system.
