Ice Wolves sign Asst. Coach Schneider to contract extension

The La Ronge Ice Wolves announced on Friday that they have signed assistant coach Kyle Schneider to a three-year contract extension.

The Prince Albert product finished his junior hockey career with the Ice Wolves in 2020 and will now help man the bench for another three years.

In his first season as a coach, he led the Wolves to a 29-24-1-4 record while helping guide the team to the playoffs.

Before playing for the Wolves in his final SJHL season, Schneider spent time with the Melfort Mustangs and the Selkirk Steelers of the MJHL.
