Former Prince Albert Raiders captain Reece Vitelli has made the jump to pro hockey.

The product of Winnipeg, MB has signed a one-year deal with the Tucson Roadrunners of the AHL, the affiliate team of the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes.

Vitelli attended Coyotes prospect and training camp this past summer after netting 51 points (25G, 26A) last season with the Raiders. He also attended the same camps back in the summer of 2021.

The 21-year-old forward spent nearly three seasons donning the green and gold after spending some time with the Everett Silvertips earlier in his career. He appeared in 144 games in a Raiders jersey while managing 93 points (40G, 53A) during his time with the club.

Raiders training camp gets underway on Thursday with pre-season action starting on September 6.

The regular season kicks off on September 23 at the Art Hauser Centre versus the Saskatoon Blades. Puck drop is at 7 pm.
