Dangerous driver arrested after crash into tree

No one was injured yesterday after a dangerous driving incident ended with the driver crashing his vehicle into a tree.
Just after 4 p.m., Prince Albert Police Service received the report of a vehicle driving erratically and at a high rate of speed. Multiple officers responded and located a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle at the intersection of 15th Avenue and Fourth Street East. The vehicle had crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with a tree.
The 23-year-old driver was arrested at the scene and is now facing charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police.
He is scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning.
