Hot, humid weather ahead for Prince Albert
Grey skies and heavy fog are not something the Prince Albert area is going to have to worry about for long. From here on out, the weekly forecast shows sunshine and heat aplenty.
According to Environment Canada’s forecast, there is no rain and not even very much in the way of cloud cover for the week to come. The next seven days will likely be the hottest stretch of August so far.
“Your skies should be clearing, fog should’ve dissipated by now as well,” said Natalie Hasell, regional meteorologist with Environment Canada. “We have, therefore, quite a bit of humidity. So in addition to temperatures, we should talk about humidex.”
Today’s forecasted high of 26 Celsius is going to feel more like 31 C with all the moisture in the air, and the humidity could stick around unto tomorrow. That may mean more fog is on the way after one of the foggiest mornings of the summer so far.
