Suspicious death investigated at Bell’s Point

An incident first reported by La Ronge RMCP this morning has turned into the investigation of a suspicious death.

Police said an assault was reported on Jack Bell Place this morning at about 3:15 a.m.

When officers responded, they found an injured 24-year-old man at the home and took him to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The man’s family has been told of his death and police say his name is not being released at the moment.
