Daniels Family Finds Healing at Kinsmen Water Park

The Daniels Family recently held a Memorial Barbeque and Smudge Ceremony at the Kinsmen Water Park to honour Storm Daniels who had passed at the pool 20 years ago.

“We the family and friends of late Storm Daniels, sincerely thank Manager Lauren Haubrich of Kinsmen Water Park and the staff for their respect and kindness on our healing journey. It is 20 years since that day, July 7, 2002 that we haven’t been there. We decided as a family to have a traditional memorial ceremony and the staff were considerate and compassionate to our needs of healing,,” says Jackie Daniels, mother of Storm.

The Kinsmen Water Park closed its doors to the public for this time and gave the family free swimming on that day.
