Prairieland’s Dept. of Ag Presents 2022 Jr Ag Showcase

Prairieland Agriculture proudly presents this year’s Junior Ag Showcase, June 29th – July 4th (excluding July 1st *stat holiday*)

The annual Junior Ag Showcase will take place at the Prairieland Ag Center, and will be host to over 150 young participants; representing 20 4-H Clubs in Saskatchewan, ranging in ages from 9-21 years old.

Saskatchewan 4-H members from the North West Region will be competing for top honours while showcasing their 4-H projects in their respective Light Horse, Dairy, Beef, and Sheep shows and competitions.

This year, the Junior Ag Showcase will be back to being fully in-person, meaning spectators are encouraged to attend any or all of the event shows. Additionally, we are once again hosting a Regional Judging Competition for members to take part in.

Members are also welcome to bring their creative art projects to be entered in the Showcase of Arts.

The event concludes Monday, July 4th with the Annual 4-H Steer Sale. The 4-H Steer Sale provides Saskatoon & area businesses with the opportunity to purchase a members’ steer, furthering their support for youth in agriculture; the future beef producers of Saskatchewan.
Prairieland remains committed to participating in the agricultural education of today’s youth.
