Downtown Sidewalk Fair draws giant crowds

Prince Albert’s Downtown Sidewalk Fair drew a giant crowd throughout Saturday. Hundreds and hundreds of people filled Central Avenue to take in the sights and sounds, grab some snacks and buy some local goods.

Interactive circus acts engaged with the crowd, as Big Jay the stilt walker gave little kids a very high high-five. A juggling unicyclist blitzed through the crowd, juggling bright pink bowling pins.

Musical acts were spread out, and every block had its own musical flavour, one area would have some classic slide-guitar blues, while a little further, a pianist serenaded the crowd, then an acoustic guitarist started rocking out with some modern-day rock.

Local food trucks were spread out throughout the strip, while just about every shop on Central participated in an outdoor tent sale.
