Occupant rescued from burning mobile home

One man escaped with minor injuries from a burning mobile home in the RM of Torch River.

Nipawin Fire Chief Paul Cockell said that the occupant was checked by EMS and released with minor injuries.

The cause of the fire that destroyed the mobile home early Thursday morning is still under investigation.

Two engines, a tanker and 16 members responded to the blaze and were back in the fire hall by 10:30.
