A new business group has now launched in Prince Albert and they’re looking for more members.

The Northern Lights Chapter of Business Network International (BNI) held its official launch Tuesday afternoon.

Bryan Moriarty with Faithlife Financial is the new president of the chapter and explains what it’s all about.

“What it is is a group of businesses that get together and refer business back and forth to one another to help grow their existing business and build trust among other businesses.”

He said the launch on Tuesday went well and they have a good core group of businesses in place and that the group is looking forward to connecting more with the local business community.

The next phase will involve a training period where each representative learns different roles within the chapter, generate referrals and help grow the group.

Now that the BNI has been launched, Moriarty is hoping more business owners join.

Moriarty stressed that there can only be one seat for each profession. As Moriarty deals with life insurance, he is the only one that can hold a seat in that business.

“That way, that’s how we can grow our referrals and we’re not competing against one another.”

Those interested in being involved with the BNI: Northern Lights Chapter can contact Bryan directly or on the group’s Facebook page.
