Saskatchewan Country Closeup – Caroline Parke

Caroline Parke wrote her first song in 2008 and have been jotting down lines in spurts and starts ever since. Most of the time she uses real life experiences, using songwriting to revive all sorts of emotions.

She lives near Onion Lake Saskatchewan on a farm in the middle of cattle country. Her daily interactions are with her husband and four young children, and her husband`s parents. She is always busy with cooking and cleaning and laundry and have a big garden each summer, preserving much of their food, and cooking (almost) every meal from scratch…. You want a recipe? Just ask!
