Man wanted in Cumberland House death arrested in P.A.

Update: Thomas appeared in court Monday morning in Prince Albert and was remanded to June 28th.

A man wanted in connection to the death of a 24-year-old woman from Cumberland House has been arrested.

Alvin Thomas was arrested by Prince Albert Police in the city on Saturday on an unrelated incident.

On June 1, RCMP charged Thomas, 39, with second-degree murder in the death of Marisha Hoksbergen. Hoksbergen died last week at a clinic in the community.

RCMP said they will provide Thomas’ next court date and time when it becomes available.
