Carlton fashion show reminds us all that ‘We’re All Human’
On Friday afternoon, students at Carlton Comprehensive High School flooded the halls around the school’s gallery to get a glimpse of the ‘We’re All Just Humans” fashion show.
The walls on both sides of the hall way were packed with students. They were under the stairwell, and looking over the balcony on the second floor. There was even a deejay pumping tunes to give the models something to walk to.
“I was really, really nervous,” laughed the show’s top designer Morgan Brown. “But yeah, it was cool. It was exciting.”
The show was a commentary on the search for peace in the face of war and racism. Brown was also heavily influenced by one of her friends’ paintings, which went by the same title.
