A Prince Albert club volleyball team came back from Edmonton with a national gold medal.
The 17U En Fuego girls team won the Division 3 Tier 4 gold medal on Saturday in Edmonton at the 2022 Youth Nationals.
En Fuego won one of their first six matches in the preliminary and round robin stages combined, but rallied for four straight wins in the Tier 4 playoffs.
They defeated the Canada West 17U Blues in a clean sweep 25-18, 25-17 in the finals to win.
