Police investigate incident in Cornerstone parking lot

UPDATE: The Prince Albert Police Service said they’re investigating an incident with a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The police were called to the area in the 800 Block of 15th Street East around 2 p.m. Wednesday. A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital in serious condition.

The public will continue to see a large police presence for the remainder of the day and police ask everyone to avoid the area.

Members of the Criminal Investigation Division, Forensic Identification Section and patrol officers of the police service are investigating.

There is a noticeable police presence in Prince Albert’s Cornerstone area.
