Police release video of suspect breaking into housing unit on River Street

Prince Albert police are looking for a person who smashed the doors of a housing complex on River Street East last month.

Police said it happened on April 28, around 4:15 p.m. on River Street East near Third Avenue.

In a video released by police, someone can be seen breaking through the front doors of the building and then attempting to open the next set of doors.

When he’s unable to open them by hand, he finds an object on the floor and throws it at the doors, breaking one of the panes of glass.

After entering through the broken door, police said he made his way to the parking garage.

Police are asking anyone who may recognize the suspect in the video to contact them.
