Boeser scores twice as Vancouver Canucks edge L.A. Kings 3-2 in overtime
VANCOUVER — Brock Boeser scored his second of the night with 29.7 seconds left in overtime and the Vancouver Canucks edged the L.A. Kings 3-2 on Thursday.
The Kings (44-27-11) dominated through much of the game, taking a 2-0 lead into the third period thanks to goals from Adrian Kempe and Gabriel Vilardi.
But the Canucks (40-30-11) rallied in the third, replying with goals from Boeser and Alex Chiasson.
Vancouver, playing its final home game of the season, relied heavily on goalie Spencer Martin, who stopped 33 of 35 shots. Cal Petersen had 26 saves for L.A.
