Youth, police vehicle shot in Deschambault Lake

A youth was taken to hospital after being shot in Deschambault Lake earlier this month.

RCMP say that on April 7 at about 12:45 a.m., a shooting incident was reported outside a home in the community.

A male youth was approached by four other men and shot. He was taken to hospital with what police say were not life threatening injuries.

The same day, officers notice damage to a police vehicle that was consistent with a firearm discharge.

No one was in the vehicle at the time and no injuries were reported.
