The Red Earth Cree Nation and Carrot River RCMP are reporting the search for 5-year-old Frank Young is still ongoing.

The boy was last seen near his home on Red Earth Cree Nation April 19 at 12:30 p.m. and investigators say he was possibly seen at the local playground that day as early as 2:30 p.m. However, there is no information that he was abducted.

He was wearing Paw Patrol rubber boots, a navy blue windbreaker-style jacket, and blue and green dinosaur pajamas. He is four feet tall, with black hair and brown eyes and approximately 66 pounds.

The community members of Red Earth Cree Nation and surrounding areas have been helping with the search and the RCMP are asking the public to report any information on where Young may be to the Carrot River RCMP at 306-768-1200.

On Tuesday, the Red Earth Cree Nation will be holding a media conference on Zoom to give an update on the search at 10:30 a.m. Chief Fabian Head and Sgt. Richard Tonge of the RCMP’s Carrot River detachment will be giving the brief.
