P.A., North Battleford, & Saskatoon seeing increase in COVID levels: study
COVID levels are increasing in Prince Albert, North Battleford, and Saskatoon.
The three communities are a part of a wastewater study being done by the University of Saskatchewan to determine how prevalent the virus is.
After seeing a nearly 300 per cent increase last week, P.A. is seeing levels jump up by another 56 per cent. Just like the week before, researchers noted melting snow may be playing a part as daily flows at the water treatment plant are up over the past couple of weeks.
Levels in North Battleford are increasing by around 250 per cent, while Saskatoon is experiencing a nearly 743 per cent rise.
