MELFORT, Sask. — In 2019, Canada produced 730 million tonnes of CO2 emissions and agriculture accounts for about 10 per cent of that total.

Grain Growers of Canada have announced the creation of a climate solutions initiative to help meet Canada’s goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.
