Summer Fair coming back to P.A.

Mar 17, 2022 | 3:00 PM

The Prince Albert Summer Fair is coming back after a two-year hiatus.

People will be able to enjoy games, rides, and performances from local individuals from August 2 to 6.

Deb Despins, general manager of Prince Albert Exhibition, told paNOW they knew they did the right thing canceling the previous events because of COVID; however, it still wasn’t easy.

“I think now that we’re opening things up we hope to have a great crowd, a great show of support, and a really good event.”

The fair will kick off with its traditional parade. They’re hoping to see different non-profits and sports teams sign up to make it one of the longest in the event’s history.

Despins said those who moved to the area since the start of the pandemic are in for a treat.

“It’s about community and community spirit and bringing in people from not just Prince Albert but from surrounding areas.”

Tickets for rides are available at the Prince Albert Exhibition’s office located at 815 Exhibition Drive. They are working on making them, which will include five-day passes available online in the coming days.
