PACSD Board approves request for two scholarships at St. Mary

Two scholarships will once again be provided to Ecole St. Mary High School.

During its regular board meeting this week, the Board of Trustees at the Prince Albert Catholic School Division (PACSD) approved requests to fund the scholarships for this year.

The John M Cuelenaere and Ecole St. Mary High School Scholarships will be awarded during the school’s Commencement Exercises on June 27.

The schools also made a request to have the Board Chair or another designate make the presentation of the awards.

The trustees approved the requests for both scholarships, $1,500 for the St. Mary High Scholarship and $250 for the John M Cuelenaere award.

The PACSD said the scholarships have had a long-standing history within the division.

Other items that were on the agenda this week were the Toonies for Tuition fundraisers, the 2022-23 Board Calendar and discussions on the PACSD Level Two priority action plan.
