Foxes take 1-0 lead in northeast Div. final

The Prince Albert Beachcomber Foxes scored three goals in the first period, en route to a 4-3 win over the Northeast Aces Tuesday night in Nipawin.

As a result the Foxes have a 1-0 series lead in the northeast division final for the U15 Sask Female Hockey League.

Sienna Braaten scored twice for the Foxes. Marti Burechailo and Jordyn Schrader also found the back of the net.

The Aces were able to close the gap and scored their third goal with about two minutes left in the game but it would not be enough.
