Spiritwood team among winners in 2022 SHSAA Provincial Curling Championships
Teams from all over Saskatchewan met in Swift Current and Fox Valley this weekend to compete in the provincial curling championships.
The Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association held the boys and the mixed championship in Swift Current while the girls played in Fox Valley.
In the boys provincial championship, Spiritwood came out on top defeating Saskatoon’s St. Joseph 7 -4. St. Mary High School boys from Prince Albert were in the tournament and won a game against Swift Current. Bellevue won the bronze.
On the girls side, Wawota became provincial champions defeating Langham 7-3. Carnduff won bronze against St. Walburg.
