Hundred charges following gun seizure

At least one suspect from Prince Albert and several from Saskatoon are facing 100 weapons charges after police found two loaded handguns, a BB gun, a shotgun, ammunition, a baggie of pills, cannabis and some cash on Wednesday evening.

Officers were called after 11 pm on Wednesday about a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of Eighth Street and noticed bear spray visible in the vehicle.

Five men, including 18-year-old Yeina Koladino of Prince Albert, were arrested and taken into custody.

After searching the vehicle, officers found the remaining items.

Koladino made his first appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Thursday, March 11, along with his co-accused; John Kargbo, 26, Malual Manjloak Yel-Malual, 25, and Lenny Wuttunee, 22, all of Saskatoon.

A fifth man, age 21, was remanded into custody and made his first appearance today.

He is facing additional charges of obstruction, possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition orders and breach of release orders in relation to the same file.
