MELFORT, Sask. — Canadian National Railway has named Tracy Robinson its new president and CEO.
Robinson is the first woman to lead the 103-year-old company and will step into the top spot on Feb. 28 as J.J. Ruest leaves the position.
Robinson is joining the company from TC Energy where she served as an executive after spending 27 years at Canadian Pacific Railway.
The Montreal-based company said Ruest will stay on in an advisory role until March 31.
