Tisdale, Sask. producer to lead farm organization
MELFORT, Sask. – A Tisdale, Sask. farmer is the new president of the Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan (APAS).
Ian Boxall, who represents the RM of Connaught, was elected by the board of directors at the APAS annual general meeting in Regina yesterday.
There are several key issues to deal with, according to Boxall.
“Sticking with our task force and ensuring that we try to get the changes that we see needed in the next policy framework will be a main priority,” Boxall told farmnewsNOW. “Also, continued work on rural connectivity.”
