Elk Ridge Resort expanding after purchase of Waskesiu Lake Lodge

Jan 14, 2022 | 1:35 PM

The Elk Ridge Resort announced they will be expanding the resort after Routes2SK Inc. purchased the Waskesiu Lake Lodge.

They announced the purchase on Dec. 31 expanding the resort into the Prince Albert National Park and rebranding the lodge as Elk Ridge on the Lake. The Waskesiu Lake Lodge has been a part of the national park since 1986.

“As the lodge moves into a new chapter, Routes2SK Inc. hopes to preserve and build upon the legacies and stories that are a large part of what keeps guests coming back to Waskesiu year after year,” as stated in the media release.

The members, headed by managing partner Ryan Danberg, president Nevin Anderson and major shareholder Dave Bryson, consist of eight Saskatchewan born members. They purchased the Elk Ridge Resort in October 2020 and have continued to expand since then.

“This expansion of the Elk Ridge brand combines the vibrant communities and unique amenities of both Elk Ridge Resort and Waskesiu Lake into one year-round, boreal forest destination.”
