Man dies after found seriously injured in Midtown

Prince Albert police have reported the city’s first homicide of 2022.

Just before 4:00 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a complaint of a weapons discharge in the 200 block of 13th St. E.

When officers arrived at the residence, they found a 20-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was taken by paramedics to Victoria Hospital but later died.

Police are not releasing the identity of the man at this time.
