The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority was hacked on Christmas Day.
In a media release Tuesday, the SLGA said it “took steps to secure its systems and mitigate the impact to their data and operations” as soon as it became aware of the cybersecurity incident.
Experts also were hired to help the authority deal with the matter.
“SLGA is working with its advisors to assess the impact to the organization’s operations,” the release said. “At the present time, SLGA does not have any evidence that the security of any customer, employee or other personal data has been misused.”
