Not guilty plea in Prince Albert aggravated assault case

A man facing a charge of aggravated assault, has entered a not guilty plea and will face trial next year.
The case was discussed Wednesday morning at Prince Albert Provincial Court.
On the evening of July 31, police were called to an address in the 800 block of second St. E. A 23-year-old man was found suffering with life threatening injuries and later transported to hospital in Saskatoon.
Dylan Bennett was arrested at the scene. Police have previously indicated he was known to the victim. He’s currently in custody serving a 21 month sentence for an unrelated assault that he was sentenced on last month.
