P.A. RCMP investigating robbery on Sturgeon Lake First Nation

Prince Albert RCMP are searching for Joshua Naytowhow on multiple charges after a robbery on Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

On Dec. 14 police were called to the First Nation for a report of a robbery and after investigating, police found out the man approached a vehicle where he threatened those inside the vehicle with a firearm. The occupants fled without injury and the man, along with two others, attempted to steal the vehicle but were unable to.

Naytowhow, who is from the Sturgeon Lake First Nation has been charged with robbery with a firearm, using an imitation firearm while committing an offence and failure to comply with probation orders. There is a warrant for his arrest and the police are searching for him.

Police described him as six feet tall, 150 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.

Police are continuing to investigate and if anyone does see him, the RCMP say do not approach him. You’re asked to call Prince Albert RCMP at 306-765-5500 if you have information on where he may be.
