New and familiar faces return to Sask. Wheat board
MELFORT, Sask. – Two current Saskatchewan Wheat Development Commission (Sask. Wheat) directors have been re-elected, a former director is returning, and a first-time candidate will join the board of directors in 2022.
Election results were released today and Jake Leguee, who farms near Weyburn and Brett Halstead of Nokomis will be back to serve another four-year term.
Former Sask. Wheat director Scott Hepworth, who farms near Assiniboia returns to the board table while the new director is Robert Stone from Davidson.
They will be joining the four current directors: Lesley Kelly of Watrous, Glenn Tait of Meota, and Jocelyn Velestuk of Broadview.
