MELFORT, Sask.- Saskatchewan RCMP investigated fewer violent crimes and more firearm offences in the first eight months of the year.

Assistant Commissioner Rhonda Blackmore shared recent crime statistics with delegates of the recent Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities virtual convention.
