Billboard for Missing Person Draper Jim Put Up in Cochin

Kamada(non profitable organization founded by elders in 2004) will be unveiling a billboard for Draper Jim at Cochin, SK . This billboard will be set up in front of the store.

Draper Jim has been missing since February 2006. His last known location was Cochin, SK. He is originally from Witcheksn Lake, Saskatchewan.

The billboards are active searching tool for families with missing persons. It’s a social awareness tool for missing persons issue and a anti gang strategy, anti bullying strategy for the communities. .

FiLU from both FSIN and Saskatchewan offices are supportng KAMADA in the billboard initiative compiling what resources and services they may provide families with missing persons.

Having more collaboration between missing persons organizations and families is encouraged. Understanding patterns of missing persons situation allows communities to better respond to missing persons situations. Providing the public with a missing persons outreach center would be ultimate. That’s KAMADA’s goal.

Jim was 27 at the time (Date of Birth: 1978-12-07) when he was last seen near the Health Center on the Saulteax First Nation (North of Cochin, Saskatchewan). JIM was attempting to return home to the Witchekan First Nation and has not been seen since.
