Spiritwood RCMP looking for missing woman last seen on Pelican Lake First Nation

Oct 28, 2021 | 12:28 PM

UPDATE: As of 7:15 a.m. Oct. 29, Brandi Johnstone has been located safe.

Spiritwood RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing woman.

Brandi Johnstone, 27, was last seen on Oct. 26 on Pelican Lake First Nation.

Police note her family hasn’t been able to get a hold of her since, which is reportedly out of character.

She’s described as 5-1, 140 lb, with brown hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a black hoodie with a small amount of grey on it, black pants, and black-and-white running shoes.

Johnstone also wears glasses and has a lip piercing.

The RCMP added there’s a chance she could be on Whitefish First Nation, however, this hasn’t been confirmed. RCMP later clarified that Big River First Nation has also been noted as a possible location since Whitefish First Nation is the informal name of the larger area.

Anyone with information on Johnstone’s whereabouts is asked to contact Spiritwood RCMP at 306-883-4210 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or by submitting a tip online at saskcrimestoppers.com.
