Prince Albert police are asking for the public’s help after several vehicles associated with Pineview Terrace were vandalized.

They were called to a parking lot around 11:30 p.m. Sunday night after multiple vehicles had their tires slashed or windows broken.

Pineview is a 60-bed special care home, located within the Victoria Hospital site, that supports people who are elderly, disabled, chronically ill, or who need 24-hour care.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 306-953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Meanwhile, P.A. police are also investigating two alleged assaults from over the weekend.

A 24-year-old man has been charged with aggravated assault, sexual assault, uttering threats, and unlawful confinement after police were called to a residence on 15th Street West.

A woman was treated for non-life-threatening stab wounds to her cheek and thigh, and a different man from the accused was treated for a stab wound to his neck.

Also, around 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon, police were called to Second Avenue West after getting reports of a man assaulting staff at a business and attempting to steal merchandise.

The 31-year-old man had left before police arrived; however, he was found nearby.

He was arrested near the business and subsequently charged with assault, obstruction, uttering threats, theft under $5,000, and breach of court conditions.
