Autumn at the Red

Oct 19, 2021 | 9:56 AM

Could your crew use a dose of Vitamin N(ature) as the days get shorter?

SaskOutdoors, the City of Prince Albert and Wildernook Fresh Air Learning are teaming up to bring Prince Albert and area another seasonal experience in Little Red River Park. We invite you to join us for a free, all ages, seasonal experience to help you get outside during the shoulder season.

We’ve designed a new hybrid experience for you which offers opportunity for both guided and self-guided nature experiences.

Our dynamic interpreter will spend the first 40 minutes facilitating your in-person experience, then set you up to continue on your self-guided nature experience afterwards. The self-guided experience will end near the parking lot for your convenience.

Mark your calendars and registeronline to join us at the Red on October 24th. Refill your cup and replenish your energy for the week ahead.

Special Note: children must attend with an adult. We will be mobile on foot and participants should be able to comfortably walk on uneven ground. Make sure to dress warmly in layers including a wind breaking layer to be comfortable outdoors for at least one hour.

Meeting Location:
Tours will depart from the picnic shelter across from the swinging bridge. Please follow the road past the Cosmopolitan Lodge, over the bridge and park near the picnic shelter. Our volunteer will be at the shelter to greet and check your group in.

Washrooms:
Located inside the Cosmopolitan Lodge.

Covid-19 Precautions:

or each member of their household group who will attend.
