TeleMiracle looking for Saskatchewan entertainers to audition for annual event

Sep 30, 2021 | 10:00 AM

With five months until TeleMiracle 46, the Kinsmen Foundation is calling on Saskatchewan entertainers to audition for the annual Saskatchewan charity event.

According to a media release, TeleMiracle 46 will be broadcasted live on CTV Saskatchewan and livestreamed on TeleMiracle.com on March 5 to 6 in 2022. They have raised over $140 million for people in Saskatchewan.

For those hoping to perform can audition in person on Oct. 30 in Saskatoon or on Nov. 6 in Regina. They can also audition by video submission.

“Auditions are a reminder that TeleMiracle is less than six months away,” said Kinsmen Foundation Executive Director Richard Kies in a media release. “With the option to audition in person or by video, our producers are hoping to see performers from every corner of the province.”

Entertainers who choose to audition in person will need to provide proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result. They will also need to follow the mandatory mask mandate and safety precautions will be in place.

Performers will be chosen with passion being the main criteria. However, they’re hoping to have entertainers from all throughout the province.

“TeleMiracle is a grassroots event, and nothing demonstrates that better than our home-grown, Saskatchewan talent,” says Steve Kirwan, chair of TeleMiracle 46. “These talented performers not only provide hours of entertainment, they also raise tens of thousands of dollars to support the telethon.”

People can register for auditions online at TeleMiracle.com or by phone at 306-244-6400 ext. 2 in Saskatoon, or toll free at 1-877-777-8979 ext. 2.

The deadline to apply for in-person audition in Saskatoon is Oct. 26 and in Regina, Nov. 2. The deadline for video submissions is on Nov. 2.
