New Saskatchewan record set with 552 new COVID-19 cases

There are 552 new COVID-19 cases to report in the province, with 77 in the North West zone, 38 in North Central and 16 in the North East. There are 21 new cases in the Far North West and 19 in the Far North East.

There were three deaths reported in the province, bringing the toll up to 670.

Hospitalizations are down one from Saturday, but there are still 281 patients receiving care for COVID-19.

There are 4,864 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.

There are 23 new cases to report on Sept. 25 in NITHA communities; 16 (70 per cent) were unvaccinated, one (four per cent) are partially vaccinated and six (26 per cent) were fully vaccinated.

There are 275 active cases of COVID-19 in NITHA communities.

These cases are located in the Far North Central (Athabasca), 10; Far North West, 66; Far North East, 148; North Central, 37; and North East, 14; 5586 cases (95 per cent) have recovered, and 14 people are hospitalized.

No new COVID-19 cases were reported by the Athabasca Health Authority.
