Agriculture Roundup for Tuesday Sept. 21, 2021
MELFORT, Sask. — The Health Foundation of East Central Saskatchewan’s Farming for Health project harvested their canola crop on Friday.
Farming for Health co-chair Larry Hilworth said they were able to get it all combined.
“We had seven machines going up and down the field, so it didn’t take long,” Hilworth said. “We ended up with a net 29.4 bushels per acre of Nexera grain.”
The funds raised are earmarked for new equipment for the health foundation which is located in Yorkton.
