Prince Albert High Noon Optimists – We Need YOU!!

The HN Club held our annual General Meeting and Planning conference on September 13.

This is when we plan a number of Club objectives for the coming twelve months.

President Izabela led us through the meeting agenda items among which is the ‘Budget” where we determine who and how much of our earnings are devoted to the many youth activities.

The main item(s) on the list are: Kids With Cancer, Youth Curling, and River Runners, followed by prioritizing the 30 other projects we support.

To meet these objectives requires an essential item: we have to EARN !! Our main source of income is from working two evening bingos a month. This normally takes 4 hours each from Club members to contribute their volunteer time for.

If you are interested in getting away from the past number of months locked up, wearing masks and all those things brought on by COVID to make life miserable…we can’t promise that we can beat the virus but we can certainly help you cope.

HOW??

Giving some time to help youth.

We will get through this problem and after all, the kids we help are the researchers and leaders of tomorrow. Come out and join us as a guest, no member fees or dues required. We meet every Monday, 7:30pm in our Club room (2nd floor), the High Noon Optimist Center, 12 Street & 3rd Ave West. Have a look and ask questions. We’ll be happy to see you.
