Marauders repeatedly rush into endzone against Redhawks
Just about everybody that ran the ball for the St. Mary Marauders scored a touchdown against the Bedford Road Redhawks on Thursday at Max Clunie Field.
The Marauders scored 10 rushing touchdowns on the way to their 78-0 win over the Redhawks— their first game after a year’s absence from high school sports in the province.
Marauders’ running back Thomas Ratt found the endzone three times for major scores. Fellow rushers Ashton Harris, Stanley Livingstone, Cole Otterson, and Kenneth Gonzalez also found paydirt. Quarterback Brady Robin snuck into the endzone. Even linebacker Uliks Ibishi scored six points late in the contest.
The Marauders’ next game will be against the other Marauders’ team from Walter Murray in Saskatoon on Sept. 24.
