Prince Albert Professional Development Summit – VIRTUAL

Sep 15, 2021 | 11:41 AM

With funding from Western Economic Diversification, and Community Future Prince Albert & District, The Prince Albert & District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to offer a unique learning opportunity for our community—learn how to share your expertise (and your business!) with the media and the public. (Due to rapidly changing Covid-19 numbers, this event will be held virtually. Registrants will be sent a link to the event.)

We’ve partnered with a leader in the industry.

In addition to running a successful communications company, Katrina German has won an international award for women in technology, released a book, been featured on the national show “The Social”, interviewed for a monthly segment on CTV Morning Live, and been on numerous panels and speaking gigs. She will be the facilitator for this group.

Who is this for?

People in the community who are:

  • At a certain stage of their career who have an established area of expertise
  • Ready to share their expertise widely
  • Willing to celebrate the success of the other members of the group

What do you get out of it?

The Feel Goods:

  • A true investment in yourself and your career
  • A group of people who are dedicated to your success (and can help you get over imposter syndrome)
  • A far deeper understanding of your current and desired professional image
  • Deadlines… so that these activities don’t keep sliding to the bottom of your to-do list

That sounds nice, but what do I actually get?

If you commit to the process, by the end of the course, you will have:

  • An understanding of how to pitch yourself to your new employer, media or investor
  • A deeper understanding of your personal executive presence
  • Access to a network of top business executives and entrepreneurs in Prince Albert & Area

What do I need to prepare before?

NOTHING—show up as yourself. We are going to walk you through this process; this is a time to focus on yourself and your career. There will be homework along the way, but it’s fun. 🙂
