Active COVID-19 cases in province eclipse 2,000-mark

With 257 new COVID-19 cases reported on Sunday, Saskatchewan has now eclipsed the 2,000 active case mark.
There are now 2,065 active cases in the province, an increase of 78 from Saturday. There were 179 recoveries on Sunday.
The northern zones accounted for 84 of the 257 new cases, with 38 new cases in the North West zone, 23 in North Central, 10 in the North East, six in the Far North West, five in the Far North East, and two in the Far North Central.
There was one death to report, making the total 598 since the pandemic started. There are 108 people in hospital with COVID-19.
