One man seriously injured after Highway 2 crash
Prince Albert RCMP is investigating after a two-car crash on Highway 2. The crash happened last night just after 5:00, north of St. Louis.
According to RCMP, the crash was a head-on collision. A woman driving an SUV was taken to hospital with what they described as non-life-threatening injuries. A man driving a car was airlifted by STARS air ambulance to the hospital. Neither driver had passengers.
RCMP could not provide an update on the condition of the patients, however, in an earlier release, Parkland Ambulance Paramedics confirmed a 20-year-old man was in serious but stable condition at Royal University Hospital. The woman remains in local hospital in stable condition.
Highway 2 was closed for about four hours during the initial investigation. Prince Albert RCMP and Saskatchewan RCMP Forensic Reconstruction Unit officers continue to investigate.
