Waskesiu’s Salazar in Junior Lobstick semifinals

Guillermo Salazar has made the semifinals at the 2021 Coca-Cola Junior Lobstick at his hometown Waskesiu Golf Course.

Salazar, who is coming off the Maple Leaf Junior Tour boys division title at Elk Ridge early this week, is taking on Hudson Malinoski in the Thursday semifinals.

Salazar defeated Max Regier on Wednesday and Will Blake in the first round of match play.

In the other semifinal, Chase Pochylko — who defeated Alex Swinnerton in the quarterfinals — will take on Luke Cote.

The winners will move on to the match play finals on Friday.
