Waskesiu’s Alex Swinnerton has clinched his spot in the quarterfinals of the 2021 Coca-Cola Junior Lobstick on his home track at the Waskesiu Golf Course.
Swinnerton beat Jackson Wingert in the first round of match play on Tuesday, after qualifying for the Championship Flight with a five-over-par 75 in Monday’s qualifying round. Swinnerton will take on third-seed Chase Pochylko in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
Saskatoon’s Tommy Danielson finished on the top of the qualifying round on Monday, and beat Hunter Kutcher on Tuesday in the first round of match play. He’ll take on Hudson Malinoski on Wednesday in the quarterfinals.
